Please join us for the Cumberland Valley Animal Shelter's 4th Annual Hike for the Homeless

CVAS's Hike for the Homeless is going to be an IN TOWN hike only this year. The fleas and ticks are CRAZY bad on the trail, so we want to get some exercise, but still protect all two-legged and four-legged participants.

When: Saturday, May 13
Registration is at 9 a.m., and the hike will step off at 10, RAIN OR SHINE (trust us, we've done this in the rain before and have the pictures to prove it!)

Where: We will start at the First Assembly of God Church, 420 Baltimore Road, Shippensburg.

We are ready to go, so put on your hiking shoes, grab the dogs and join us!

The event will include vendors, contests and prizes.

Contests will start at approximately 11:30 and we'll be looking for the Best Kisser, Best Trick, Best Talker, Best Costume and Best Owner/Dog Look-a-Like.

Get as many sponsors as you can! The first 30 registered hikers to collect $30 or more will receive a t-shirt, a dog scarf and a "thank you" gift.

We have awesome prizes for the top 20 donors who collect $50 or more.

This event will support CVAS Second Chance Fund which covers costs for animals that have medical needs who deserve a "second chance."
