The Cumberland Valley Animal Shelter operates a thrift store at 66 S. Main St. in Chambersburg. Our thrift store provides substantial, needed income every month to help maintain the daily operations of the shelter.
Anyone who shops at or donates to our thrift store will be positively affecting the lives of homeless animals.
Our store offers a wide variety of merchandise at incredibly reasonable prices. Our thrift store includes men’s, women’s and children’s clothing that is checked so it is clean, folded and free of stains and damage. We also sell shoes, handbags, hats, gloves, jewelry and books; household supplies like dishes, cookware, utensils, small appliances, bedding, lamps and rugs; collectibles, collections and antiques; decorating items like mirrors, pictures, paintings, flower arrangements, knickknacks; and even furniture.
For up-to-date photos of merchandise, check out our CVAS Thrift Store Facebook page. Make sure you "Like" the page, so you can see the new daily finds!
Donations of merchandise for the thrift store are welcome, but staff ask that they be dropped off between 9:00 am to 4:45 pm Monday through Saturday. Please note that we stop taking donations 15 minutes prior to closing to allow our staff to finish up their daily work.
Stop by today and say hello to the friendly staff and volunteers who help make our thrift store so successful!
